Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for RF, Mixed Signal and Digital products from development through production release.
• Work closely with Test Engineering and Production Support teams on debug activities, reliability qualification and yield enhancement.
• Collaborate with Product Test Engineering teams and communicate technical product status to management.
• Work with customers to establish product testing and production release requirements.
• Liaise with foundries and test subcontractors/SAT houses to resolve production issues.
• Prepare detailed status reports, test limit/guard band generation, correlation reports and yield summary reports.
• Drive yield improvement, test time reduction and retest rate improvement during production ramp.
• Analyse production and test data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Support reporting automation and data analysis activities where required.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Product Engineering or Test Engineering.
• Experience with semiconductor products and foundry processes is preferred.
• Good understanding of test concepts for Digital, Mixed Signal and/or RF products.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest 93K ATE will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of statistics, data analysis and data mining.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP, CEDA, DataPower or Optimal+ is an advantage.
• Knowledge of scripting/programming using Perl, Java or VBA is an advantage.
• Experience in reporting automation is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
