Service Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Daily Management: Coordinate and manage daily service activities.
• Personnel Scheduling: Plan and schedule service engineers and technicians for onboard vessel attendance.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key point of contact between customers, vessel owners, engineers, and agents.
• Resource Planning: Review technical requirements to arrange manpower, spare parts, tools, and documentation.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor ongoing service jobs and provide timely progress updates to customers.
• Systems Support: Coordinate service support specifically for marine navigation and communication systems.
• Financial Administration: Prepare and maintain service quotations, purchase orders, job orders, and invoices.
• International Coordination: Liaise with overseas service stations and partners to arrange international port support.
• Cost Monitoring: Track service job costs, spare-parts usage, outstanding jobs, and billing status.
• Team Leadership: Support junior coordinators, improve coordination processes, and collaborate with technical and sales teams

Requirements

• GCE ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level with minimum 4 years of relevant working experience, OR a Diploma in Business Administration or a related a related field with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
• Prior experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
