MRO Facility Consultant (Based in India)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and coordination of new hangars and supporting facilities, working closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, insurers, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop functional layouts for hangars, workshops, warehouses, stores, and offices to support base maintenance operations and future requirements.
• Review technical specifications, support tender evaluations, and recommend the appointment of contractors and procurement of specialised equipment and engineering services.
• Participate in project, design, engineering, and site meetings while providing technical advice to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
• Coordinate fire safety requirements with relevant stakeholders and review fire protection systems, testing requirements, maintenance documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee and witness testing and commissioning of major engineering equipment, specialised systems, and storage solutions, ensuring proper documentation and readiness for operational handover.
• Support the development of the facilities organisation, including defining roles, recruitment, training, maintenance requirements, operating procedures, as-built drawings, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering
• Experience in MRO Hangar/Aerospace Park design and/or ConstructionProject Management is preferred
• Willing to be based in India for more than 6 months
