Tax Analyst (Semiconductor Industry)

Job scope:

• Manage Singapore and Malaysia tax compliance, including GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory reporting.

• Oversee GST reporting, compliance initiatives, and process improvements.

• Coordinate statutory audits and tax audits, and liaise with tax authorities and external consultants.

• Support transfer pricing compliance and regional tax reporting requirements.

• Assist with tax and compliance matters for new Southeast Asia business entities.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax regulations and strengthen internal contros.

• Support ad-hoc finance and compliance projects as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of finance experiences including 5 years specialising in:

  • Tax compliance

  • Corporate tax

  • GST

  • Statutory audit

  • Tax governance

• Prior experience in an MNC or corporate environment is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with US GAAP, SOX compliance, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

• Proven experience handling IRAS tax audits and regulatory enquiries.

• Experience managing multiple legal entities and regional tax compliance is preferred.
