Sales Consultant (Maid Agency)

Maid Avenue is looking for a warm, relatable and commercially driven Sales Consultant to help customers find the right domestic helper for their household.

This is primarily an inbound sales role. Leads are generated and provided by the company, so your focus is not cold calling; it is understanding each customer's needs, recommending suitable helpers, building trust, closing the placement, and supporting customers after the sale.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to inbound customer enquiries and understand their household requirements

• Recommend and match suitable domestic helpers to customers

• Conduct consultations and guide customers through the hiring process

• Coordinate helper interviews between customers and candidates

• Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into successful placements

• Provide after-sales support and assist customers with questions or issues after placement

• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the full customer journey

• Work towards individual sales KPIs and targets

• Assist with the necessary coordination and documentation throughout the placement process

Who We’re Looking For

Experience in sales or the maid agency industry is preferred, but not compulsory.

More importantly, we are looking for someone who is:

• Naturally personable, warm and easy to relate to

• Comfortable speaking with customers from different backgrounds

• Consultative rather than overly pushy

• Motivated by targets, commissions and personal performance

• Persistent with follow-ups and comfortable working towards KPIs

• Responsible and responsive when customers need assistance

• Able to manage both sales opportunities and existing customer relationships

• Able to work independently and take ownership of their sales pipeline

Working Arrangement

Official office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

However, customer enquiries and after-sales matters do not always happen during office hours. Successful consultants are expected to remain reasonably responsive to customers and follow up on sales opportunities or customer issues outside normal working hours when necessary.

If you are looking for a role where work completely stops at 5 PM every day, this position may not be suitable.

Earnings

This is a performance-driven role with commission.

A solid performer can realistically earn around $5,000 per month, while strong performers may earn over $7,000 in good months.

With leads provided by the company, your earning potential will depend largely on how well you engage, follow up, convert, and support customers.
