Project Engineer

Roles and responsibilities

· Assist SPM/PM in execution and managing day-to-day activities

· Monitor work progress in relevance to project schedule

· Coordinate & liaise with clients and site team to ensure the works are performed in accordance with specification & drawings

· Conduct and attend site inspections

· Assist in the requisition of materials, and ensure timely delivery and mobilisation

· Assist in developing construction sequences, resource planning and manpower requirement.

· Maintain project database and record keeping of all construction documents

· Prepare progress details, estimations and any other reports as required

· Review drawings and prepare quantity requirements, such as preparation of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) etc.

· Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues.

· Any other ad-hoc duties

· Will be located at site office and may need to travel to different sites

· Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of discipline

· Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Singapore construction industry (preferably in civil field/ RC works)

· Proficient in English, MS Office, AutoCad

· Good communication and interpersonal skill

· Self-motivated and able to complete task independently under tight deadline

· Good team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverables within set times and expectations

· Willingness to learn & grow
