Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Evaluate and manage vendor contracts while ensuring effective and consistent communication
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to secure cost-effective, long-term procurement agreements
• Verify delivered goods against purchase orders and liaise with vendors to resolve any discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender and project documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in related disciplines like business administration, supply chain management, engineering and economics.
• At least 2 years of experience in the electrical industry with purchasing/procurement experience
• Able to perform effectively under tight deadlines and fast-paced environments
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently
• Good communication and negotiation abilities
• Knowledge and experience in overseas shipping and general/electrical hardware procurement
