Role Overview

As a Bartender, you’ll play an important role in our bar team, preparing quality drinks while creating a warm, engaging and memorable experience for every guest.

You’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of the bar, from drink preparation and service to bar setup, cleanliness, stock management and maintaining service standards. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys hospitality and is comfortable taking ownership of their work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drinks & Bar Operations

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Maintain consistency in drink quality, presentation and speed of service
• Follow bar recipes, SOPs and proper preparation techniques
• Prepare bar mise en place and ensure the bar is fully stocked and ready for service
• Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools properly
• Carry out daily opening, closing and cleaning procedures
• Keep the bar, equipment and preparation areas clean, organised and well-maintained
• Assist with stock checks, replenishment and proper storage of beverages and bar supplies

Guest Experience

• Provide warm, friendly and attentive service to guests
• Engage with guests and provide recommendations on cocktails, spirits, wine and other beverages where appropriate
• Contribute to a welcoming and enjoyable bar atmosphere
• Maintain service standards during busy periods while keeping quality and consistency
• Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and timely service
• Handle guest requests professionally and responsibly

Teamwork & Standards

• Work collaboratively with the bar and wider F&B team
• Support other team members during busy service periods
• Share product knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment
• Take initiative to improve bar workflow and service efficiency
• Support menu updates and seasonal beverage offerings when required

Inventory & Compliance

• Assist with beverage inventory checks and stock replenishment
• Follow proper stock rotation and help minimise wastage
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and applicable regulations

Job Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant bartending or F&B experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and other beverages
• Confident in basic cocktail preparation and bar service
• Good understanding of bar operations and service standards
• Friendly, positive and comfortable interacting with guests
• Able to work efficiently and maintain consistency during busy service
• Organised, reliable and attentive to detail
• Positive team player with a willingness to learn
• Able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
