We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the overall leadership and management of nursing services within a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the overall nursing operations and clinical governance
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and Singapore Nursing Board standards
- Support manpower planning, staffing deployment, and resource management across nursing services
- Lead and support nursing quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care practices
- Develop, review, and implement nursing policies, procedures, and work processes
- Monitor operational trends and identify opportunities for service enhancement
- Support audits, inspections, accreditation exercises, and compliance reviews
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operational coordination
- Oversee staff development, training, and competency upgrading initiatives
- Support special projects and operational improvement initiatives assigned by Management
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or equivalent
- Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board practicing license
- Post Graduate Nursing qualification preferred
- Valid BCLS certification
- Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership or management experience in healthcare or nursing home environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Familiar with MOH regulatory requirements and nursing operations
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
