Mother Tongue Specialist Officer (Punjabi & Urdu))

We are looking for Mother Tongue Specialist Officers candidates for the languages Punjabi and Urdu.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Assisting in designing, reviewing, and checking the framework for the development of curriculum for ICT & instructional material timely.

· Assist in Printing Textbooks, Language examination papers and other related work.

· Setting the English version of the Language Examination and translating them into the respective languages for final printing after cross-language moderation.

· Able to record Texts in their respective Language.

· Assisting, allotting duties, documentation of records and making all necessary logistics at the Examination center to conduct examinations.

· Fulfil the duties for Formative Assessments & Weighted Assessments.

· Assist and process marking exercises in an orderly manner.

· Assist in carrying out the Viewing of Examination Scripts session smoothly at the examination centers and head office and its related work.

· Able to handle all Examination-related matters.

Other major duties:

· Assist in preparing training material.

· Assist in developing the material for ICT portal.

· Assist in conducting teachers’ seminars and briefings.

· Prepare and update the Standard Operating Procedures from time to time.

· Maintaining data related to students, and teachers.

· Assist in performing administrative tasks and doing the necessary follow-ups.

· Fulfil the duties assigned by the manager & senior leaders as and when required.

Requirements:

· Must possess a diploma/graduate/other related qualification.

· Must have good command in speaking and writing the respective mother tongue language (Punjabi & Urdu).

· Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint is important

· Must be able to type and produce documents in the respective language.

· Must have experience in teaching.
