Software Developer (With Helix Platform) | CONTRACT | ONSITE

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer (Java with DevOps) to support enterprise application development and maintenance. The role involves requirements gathering, system analysis, application design, development, integration, testing, and implementation across the full SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

* Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into technical and application specifications.

* Analyse, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications.

* Develop and customise applications and workflows using BMC Helix Innovation Suite and Remedy AR System.

* Develop workflows, forms, templates, and integrations using BMC Remedy Developer Studio and Pentaho.

* Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Helix iPaaS, and external systems.

* Enhance CMDB classes, relationships, datasets, reconciliation rules, and discovery integrations.

* Prepare low-level designs and development best-practice guidelines.

* Work with users, vendors, and technical teams throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, implementation, and quality assurance.

* Strong experience in Java and Java technologies, with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).

* Hands-on experience with BMC Helix Innovation Suite, Remedy AR System, Remedy Developer Studio, and Pentaho.

* Experience with REST, SOAP, Helix iPaaS, Web Services, SOA, and SAML.

* Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, and Bash/Shell scripting.

* Experience working with Linux, Red Hat Linux, Unix, and Windows Server environments.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project management, and vendor management skills.

* Ability to independently gather requirements and translate them into system, application, and process designs.
