Senior Java Software Engineer

Experience: 8+ years

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer with strong experience in software development, testing, solution design, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deliver high-quality Java applications.

• Work with Architects and Business Analysts on technical and functional requirements.

• Design scalable solutions using proven design patterns.

• Perform code/design reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Prepare technical documentation and development estimates.

• Define test strategies and support Agile/Scrum delivery.

• Monitor code quality and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development and testing experience.

• Strong knowledge of Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Unix shell scripting, and MS SQL Server.

• Experience with Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Knowledge of both backend and frontend development.

• Experience with Airflow, Control-M, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or ArgoCD.

• Strong SQL performance-tuning skills, including SQL Profiler/Query Analyzer.

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum.

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.

• Experience in enterprise or financial services environments is a plus.
