Application Security Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical presentations, demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements for Microsoft Security and Purview solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand security requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on Microsoft Purview and data protection best practices.
• Design and implement Microsoft Purview solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Configure and manage Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Data Security Posture Management, Information Barriers and Insider Risk Management.
• Implement sensitive data classification, labeling, retention and data lifecycle policies.
• Configure sensitive information types and data classification policies based on security and compliance requirements.
• Conduct customer workshops, technical training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Monitor cybersecurity trends, emerging threats and industry developments to provide relevant technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal sales, technical and Microsoft stakeholder teams to support customer outcomes and business objectives.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience with strong expertise in Microsoft Purview solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention.
• Experience with Data Security Posture Management, Information Barriers and Insider Risk Management.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Purview across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of sensitive data classification, labeling, retention and data lifecycle management.
• Experience configuring sensitive information types and data classification policies.
• Experience delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of data protection, cybersecurity threats and relevant compliance requirements.
