Accounts Assistant (up to $3,200 base + AWS + PB | Mon to Fri)

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments.
• Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, statements of accounts and payment reminders.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with general ledger reconciliations.
• Process staff claims, petty cash transactions and other finance-related submissions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, supporting documents and filing systems.
• Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting and preparation of audit schedules.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the finance team when required.

Requirements

• Diploma, Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to complete assigned work accurately and within deadlines.
