Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Recruitment & Engagement

• Manage volunteer recruitment, interview screening & onboarding

• Maintain volunteer database, schedules & deployment plans

• Coordinate volunteer orientations, briefings & handbook adherence

• Build strong volunteer culture aligned with trauma‑informed values

Programme Support

• Support shelter, events, outreach and community programmes

• Coordinate volunteer logistics, communications & duty fulfilment

• Track volunteer hours, attendance & feedback

Training & Capacity Building

• Conduct briefings on safeguarding, confidentiality, boundaries & crisis response

• Coordinate training sessions and capability development

Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain volunteer records & compliance with safeguarding policies

• Support reporting to management & funding partners

• Improve volunteer processes & experience feedback loops

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications or related field

• Experience in volunteer or community engagement preferred

• Strong interpersonal, communication & organisation skills

• Compassionate, adaptable, and aligned with social‑service values

• Respect for confidentiality & sensitivity when engaging with survivors
