Production Engineering Assistant

Principal Accountabilities

1. Prepare the tooling, die sets, test jigs, and equipment for new sample build.

2. Source the necessary tooling and work/coordinate with the suppliers.

3. Maintain a list of equipment and maintenance supplies. Notify purchasing to buy the shop floor supplies.

4. Be involved in NPI building and mass production.

5. Conduct failure analysis under engineering guidance.

6. Create, maintain, and update production records.

7. Perform duties and tasks as and when directed by the Supervisor

Requirements

Education

· NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

1. Knowledge of wire harness manufacturing is preferred.

2. Candidates with prior experience in manufacturing assembly processes are also encouraged to apply.

3. Able to read and understand assembly drawings.

4. Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
