Project Site Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Supervisor to join our construction team. The Project Supervisor will oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage teams, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain clear communication between field staff, project managers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.

- Manage and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople.

- Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager.

- Inspect work to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.

- Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly.

- Maintain accurate site documentation, including reports, timesheets, and material logs.

- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in construction (commercial, residential, or infrastructure).

- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

- Proficiency with project management software and MS Office suite.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, COR, or equivalent).

- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
