Demand Planner (6 months) | FMCG - Hybrid

6 months contract
Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days WFH

Responsibilities

• Support demand planning activities within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by contributing to forecasting, planning discussions, and aligning with business strategies
• Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to improve coordination and drive business performance outcomes
• Manage short-term and long-term demand forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with evolving business needs
• Partner with forecasting and analytics teams to develop and refine statistical demand forecasts for improved predictability
• Maintain and utilize demand planning systems and tools to support effective planning activities
• Analyze forecast variances, service-level issues, and planning gaps to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Support regional and global digital transformation initiatives, including AI-driven forecasting and system enhancement projects
• Monitor and report key demand planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, supply outlook, shipment risks, and overall planning performance
• Collaborate with customer service and order management teams to balance supply and demand for optimal customer fulfillment
• Work with logistics and commercial teams to manage inventory health, reduce excess stock, and minimize obsolescence risks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP, or S&OP within FMCG, consumer goods, food manufacturing, or other fast-paced industries
• Familiarity with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and sales and operations planning processes
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments and influence stakeholders across business functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated by interpreting data and deriving actionable insights
• Proficiency in communication and stakeholder management to effectively engage diverse teams
• Collaborative team player with a track record of partnering across departments to achieve business objectives
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn and develop in a dynamic business environment
