Demand Planning Specialist (Supply Chain) – 6 months contract

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Demand Planning function within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, contributing to forecasting activities, planning reviews, and business decision-making.
• Partner closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and improve overall business performance.
• Develop, manage, and maintain short-term and long-term demand forecasts to support operational and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Forecasting and Analytics teams to build, validate, and enhance statistical forecasting models.
• Utilize demand planning systems, tools, and processes to support effective forecasting and planning activities.
• Analyze forecast variances, service level performance, and planning gaps, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled forecasting capabilities and planning system enhancements.
• Track, monitor, and report key Demand Planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, shipment risks, supply outlook, and overall planning effectiveness.
• Work closely with Customer Service and Order Management teams to optimize customer fulfillment through effective supply and demand balancing.
• Partner with Logistics and Commercial teams to improve inventory management, reduce excess stock, and mitigate inventory obsolescence risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), preferably within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Food Manufacturing, or other fast-paced industries.
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment strategies, and S&OP processes.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment and engaging stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business actions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
• Experience with planning systems, forecasting tools, SAP, APO, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.

Salary range : $5000.00 – S$5500.00
