Shipping Agent - Port Agency Operations

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and highly motivated candidate to join our team.

The successful candidate will be involved in vessel port agency operations coordinating with vessels, terminals, authorities, service providers and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage vessel port calls from arrival to departure.
• Attend vessels boarding at anchorages / terminals and handle vessel-related operational matters.
• Coordinate crew changes, husbandry services, launches, transportation and other port services.
• Monitor vessel schedules and respond promptly to operational changes.
• Handle multiple vessel operations and tasks simultaneously.
• Prepare and maintain necessary operational documentation and reports.
• Provide 24/7 operational support when required.
• Ensure all operations are conducted safely, efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, port agency, marine operations or a related field is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to board/climb vessels independently without supervision.
• Able to work independently and make sound decisions during operations.
• Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Required to work irregular hours, weekends and public holidays when required.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and able to perform under pressure. This role is not a desk-only position — you must be prepared to go on board vessels, solve problems on the ground and take action without waiting to be told what to do.
