Network Server Support Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer / IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide L1/L2 infrastructure support and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the organisation’s IT environment. The ideal candidate will be an all-round infrastructure professional with hands-on experience across server, network and general infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 BAU infrastructure support for day-to-day IT operations.
• Perform basic server and network troubleshooting, including connectivity, performance and system-related issues.
• Monitor infrastructure systems and respond to incidents, alerts and service requests.
• Perform troubleshooting and support for Windows/Linux servers, network devices and related infrastructure.
• Assist with server administration, system maintenance, patching and configuration activities.
• Troubleshoot common issues involving LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and network connectivity.
• Perform basic infrastructure health checks, monitoring and preventive maintenance.
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Ensure infrastructure operations comply with established IT policies, procedures and security standards.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Infrastructure Support, System Administration or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience providing L1/L2 infrastructure support in a production environment.
• Good working knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN and VPN.
• Experience troubleshooting server, network, hardware and connectivity issues.
