Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior/Account Associate to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality accounting and financial reporting services. In this role, you will prepare full sets of accounts, financial reports, and statutory submissions while building strong client relationships and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries and serve as the main point of contact for accounting-related matters.
  • Prepare and review full sets of accounts, management reports, financial statements, month-end/year-end closing, and account reconciliations.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely completion of statutory and compliance requirements.
  • Review accounting records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and company policies.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and reviewing their work for accuracy and quality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen internal controls, and enhance accounting processes and systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within an accounting firm, outsourced accounting, or professional services environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing client portfolios, preparing full sets of accounts, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Xero, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
