Student Care Teaching Associate (Full-Time) — Mon to Fri, No Weekends

Twelve children, not twenty. Monday to Friday, never a weekend.

WHAT WE OFFER

- $2,300 to $3,000 a month, depending on experience. Above the going rate for student care in Singapore.

- Monday to Friday only. No weekend shifts. No night shifts.

- A 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio, where much of the industry runs 1:20. You will actually know every child in your care.

- Medical coverage for full-time staff.

- Paid training. No education experience needed, we teach you the job properly.

- A real ladder: Teaching Assistant to Teaching Associate to Centre Manager. We promote from within.

ABOUT CUROS

We are a premium after-school care centre for primary school children, at Bukit Timah Plaza, Thomson Plaza and Marine Parade. We are not a homework factory. Alongside academic support we run character-building, life skills and hands-on STEM, because a child who finishes P6 confident and curious does better than one who merely finishes the worksheet.

We run properly: small groups, wholesome meals, and gate-to-door transport with real-time updates to parents. You will be teaching, not firefighting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Care for and supervise primary school students through the afternoon: meals, homework, enrichment and play.

- Coach students through homework so it is genuinely understood, and finished before they go home.

- Support the main teacher with classroom management and keep the room calm and safe.

- Help run our holistic programmes, indoors and outdoors.

- Accompany students on the school bus and manage safe handover at dismissal.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Minimum GCE 'A' Level, Nitec or Diploma, any discipline. Undergraduates welcome.

- Able to guide primary school subjects at P1 to P6 level.

- Warm with children, and firm when it counts.

- Steady when an afternoon gets busy.

- No prior student care or teaching experience needed. Fresh graduates, mid-career switchers, and people coming from retail, F&B or hospitality do well here. We train you.

HOURS

School term: 9:30am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

MOE school holidays: shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
