Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager

We are looking for 4 motivated Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager to develop new business opportunities and manage existing customer relationships within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.

The successful candidate should be commercially driven, customer-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial presentations.
• Follow up on sales leads and convert opportunities into business.
• Work closely with the Head of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies that drive business growth.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
• Work closely with our global agent network to identify cross-border business opportunities.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable freight forwarding solutions across air, sea and land.
• Prepare sales pipelines, forecasts and performance reports for management.
• Take ownership of sales targets and continuously look for ways to grow the business.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales/business development experience in logistics, freight forwarding or a related industry.
• Existing customer network within the logistics/freight forwarding industry will be an advantage.
• Possess a valid Singapore driving licence and own vehicle.
• Able to speak Mandarin/Chinese to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking customers and business partners.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially driven with a strong customer-service mindset.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of sales activities.
• Able to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
