JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsiblefor managing and coordinating all transshipment operations, ensuring thesmooth, timely, and accurate movement of cargo through effective liaison withinternal teams and external stakeholders such as shipping lines, port operators,and terminals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coordinate all transshipment-related activities and transactions to ensure smooth and timely cargo movement.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments, shipping lines, port operators, terminals, agents, and other external stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate, verify and consolidate vessel loading and discharge figures, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Monitor transshipment operations and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, operational requirements, and relevant shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports as required.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor'sDegree/ Diploma in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management,Shipping, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates withexperience in vessel stowage, port operations, transshipment planning, orterminal coordination will have an added advantage.
- Goodunderstanding of shipping and transshipment processes is preferred.
- Strongattention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to workeffectively in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
- Strongorganizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiplepriorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactiveattitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to changing businessrequirements.
