Accounts Executive (Immediate)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage full accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance to ensure the company’s financial health and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow reports, and budgets to support strategic financial planning
• Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger to maintain accurate financial records
• Process invoices, payments, billing, and collections daily to ensure timely financial transactions
• Issue invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, credit notes, and related accounting documents accurately and promptly
• Reconcile supplier invoices, process payments, and manage statement reconciliation for Accounts Payable
• Monitor customer billing, follow up on payments, and track collections for Accounts Receivable
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify and update accounting records
• Prepare monthly management reports, schedules, and supporting documents for internal review
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial closure
• Prepare and submit GST returns accurately and on time in compliance with Singapore tax regulations
• Maintain organized filing and documentation of all accounting records for audit readiness
• Monitor cash flow, payment status, and outstanding receivables to support financial stability
• Support budgeting, purchase forecasting, and financial reporting as required by management
• Perform other accounting, administrative, and ad-hoc duties assigned by management

Required competencies and certifications

• Hands-on experience with AutoCount Accounting System
• Experience in preparing and submitting GST returns
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and Singapore GST requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum LCCI / Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience handling full set of accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Good communication and follow-up skills
• Professional liaison skills with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
• Comfortable working in an SME environment
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and stakeholders (required for effective communication with diverse stakeholders)
