Position: Head Chef / Chef
Salary: SGD 3,000 – 5,000 per month

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations.

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes, quality standards and presentation requirements.

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Plan kitchen workflow, manpower allocation and food preparation schedules.

• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion control and presentation.

• Monitor food inventory and coordinate ordering of ingredients and supplies.

• Control food costs and minimise wastage.

• Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness.

• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety and company SOPs.

• Train and guide kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation and operational standards.

• Work closely with the management and operations team on menu development and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in restaurant or commercial kitchen operations.

• Prior experience as a Chef, Senior Chef, Sous Chef or Head Chef will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation and food hygiene standards.

• Able to lead and manage a kitchen team.

• Good organisational and communication skills.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Salary

SGD 3,000 – SGD 5,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
