Operational Finance Executive/Accountant (9 months maternity contract) #TJTL

THE ROLE

Join the finance team and support the full spectrum of financial accounting and operational finance, with a strong focus on General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle General Ledger accounting and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.

• Prepare accurate accounting entries and financial records.

• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and IFRS.

• Support statutory audits and internal control requirements.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely submissions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, operational finance, audit or General Ledger accounting.

• Strong knowledge of GL, month-end closing, Balance Sheet reconciliation and IFRS.

• Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
