Assistant Supply Chain Manager

• Company business: worldwide partner for advanced automation solutions

• Manage purchasing, supply chain, logistics, and inventory activities to ensure smooth production and material availability.

• Manage overseas suppliers, including sourcing, qualification, performance evaluation, negotiation, and audits.

• Source and develop suppliers across APAC, China, India, and Europe, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality, inventory, and material flow.

• Review technical drawings/specifications for machine parts and coordinate technical requirements with overseas suppliers.

• Work closely with customers, suppliers, warehouse, and internal teams on demand planning and material requirements.

• Drive improvements in procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• 3–4 years’ experience in industrial procurement/supply chain, preferably in semiconductor or machine parts.

• Technical background with ability to read engineering/technical drawings is preferred.

• Strong overseas supplier management, negotiation, and sourcing skills.

• Good Excel and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Willing to travel internationally around 30%, including APAC, China, India, and Switzerland
