WSH Coordinator (Construction/ 6 days)

WSH Coordinator

Location: Project Island-wide, HQ at Aljunied

Working hours: 6 days,8am – 6pm

Remuneration: $3,200 - $4,200 + VB

Roles & Responsibilities

• Involve in Risk Management Team.
• Conduct EHS training and tool-box meetings.
• Conduct regular site checks and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection.
• Prepare necessary safety report as requested.
• Supervising and checking site work. Ensure all lifting gears, appliances, electrical equipment are inspected and records are up to date.
• Implement rules and regulations for in house worker’s dormitory.
• Maintain a daily working relationship with the WSH team and with line management and supervision and subcontractors relative to their compliance with the provisions of the WSH and regulatory requirements.
• To assist in the investigation accident / incidents. Prepare monthly safety report.
• Responsibility for all the site matters including safety and other matters.
• Perform duties in accordance to the roles and responsibility as stated in the Workplace Safety, Health, and Environment Management System.
• Liaise and work closely with contractors.
• Monitor worker trainings, enrol and update of all workers’ related course or matters as directed by Project Director / HR.
• Conduct or assist in new hire and on-boarding, orientation and/or off-boarding, including interviewing workers; conduct exit interview with HR and/or PD to identify reasons for termination.
• Any other duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health OR
• Degree/ Diploma in WSH or equivalent
