AI Applications Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI application backend services using Go / Golang.
• Integrate and maintain different AI Providers, including LLM, image generation, video generation and multimodal models.
• Develop unified interfaces and provider adapters for different AI models.
• Build AI generation workflows, including task creation, parameter validation, model calls, status tracking, polling, retries and cancellation.
• Develop RESTful APIs, HTTP services and SSE streaming features.
• Support model configuration, provider routing and channel management.
• Integrate AI generation functions with projects, media libraries, credits and billing modules.
• Write tests, improve logging and error handling, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1–5 years of backend development experience. Strong fresh graduates with relevant projects may also be considered.
• Proficient in Go / Golang, with knowledge of Goroutines, Channels, Context, HTTP, JSON and basic concurrency.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with MySQL / PostgreSQL. Knowledge of Redis, message queues or object storage is a plus.
• Ability to read third-party API documentation and implement API integration, parameter conversion and response handling.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong interest in AI / LLM / AIGC technologies. Relevant project or API integration experience is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, Doubao, Zhipu or MiniMax.
• Experience integrating AI image or video generation APIs.
• Knowledge of SSE / WebSocket.
• Experience with asynchronous tasks, workers, webhooks or polling mechanisms.
• Familiarity with LiteLLM, OneAPI, NewAPI or similar AI gateway platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git and Linux.
• Experience in AI, AIGC, SaaS or related product development.
