Job Description
Project Controls Lead (PCL) implements overall project controls direction through application of systems and methods for estimate development, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development / control and management of change.
Job Requirements
Provide overall project cost, schedule, progress measurement, and change management leadership and stewardship. Provide support to Project Team and steward cost and schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
Develop the FPSO Project Controls Plan and Management of Change (MOC) Plan (as required).
Establish and steward weekly and monthly progress, cost, and schedule tracking and reporting
Coordinate the collecting, analyzing, and reporting of progress, cost and schedule information from various FPSO entities, including engineering and multiple fabrication yards; prepare overall progress, cost, and schedule forecasts for FPSO team
Facilitate management of change process with FPSO team, tracking key MOCs ensuring transparaent and clear communication throughout team.
Track key issues of project and assist in maintaining focus on mitigation actions.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from PMT related to Project Controls/Reporting.
- Support preparation of Close-out Reporting and data collection with project team.
Perform quality assurance at the project level by monitoring and appraising the performance of Contractors in the areas of cost control, progress measurement and schedule control (as required)
Responsible for ensuring that proper and effective project control measures are executed by the Contractor; including the Contractor’s cost and schedule control organization, plans and procedures
Review and, where appropriate, endorse schedule, progress and cost baselines and forecast prepared by contractors
Review progress measurement data reported by the Contractor
Review cost and schedule bases of Contractor's Change Proposals / Orders, including progress trends developed by Contractor
Assist site management in developing/reviewing cost and schedule corrective actions and recovery plans and ensuring needed actions/plans are implemented.
