Pharmacy Technician (Clinic)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation, dispensing and supply of medications, including chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications, in accordance with established procedures.
• Support the safe handling, preparation and disposal of cytotoxic and other hazardous medications.
• Maintain accurate medication records, treatment documentation, inventory records and ensure proper storage and stock management.
• Work closely with pharmacists, doctors and nursing teams to ensure medications are prepared accurately and available in a timely manner for patient treatment.
• Assist with pharmacy operations, medication reconciliation, clinical trial-related activities and other pharmacy duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy Technician certification, or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably within an oncology, hospital, specialist clinic or healthcare setting.
