Job Summary

Support and co-manage KYC and CDD processes across Asia to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal AML/KYC policies. Drive accuracy in customer data, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting while contributing to process improvements and digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Advise and perform KYC reviews to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and the bank’s AML and KYC Policies across all Asia branches
• Review and verify completeness of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) information and supporting documents, including FATCA and CRS forms, for new and existing customers during periodic reviews
• Manage KYC/CDD trigger events and conduct reviews, ensuring timely and appropriate actions aligned with AML and KYC Policies
• Conduct name screening and searches on prospective and existing customers to identify risks and ensure compliance
• Co-manage KYC teams in the APAC region, providing expertise and support for KYC activities across the region
• Review and verify completeness of static customer information to support batch screening as per requirements
• Implement and monitor first line of defense controls and procedures to ensure effective risk management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer lists and records, including proper archiving
• Prepare and review Management Information System (MIS) reports periodically, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete regulatory submissions
• Support the preparation and refinement of process design documents for digital initiatives and automation projects
• Maintain accurate static customer data in the Core Banking System for the Singapore branch
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) through MIS reporting to ensure compliance and risk thresholds are not breached
