Tax Accountant

Overview:

• Company: Tires MNC
• Location Bugis MRT

Responsibilities:

• Prepare corporate income tax returns, tax provisions, and tax disclosures for financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, filings, and payments across relevant jurisdictions.
• Support tax audits, inquiries, and requests from tax authorities.
• Conduct tax research and assess the impact of changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate tax records, workpapers, filings, and supporting documentation.
• Provide tax advisory support on business transactions, new products/services, and market entries.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations, and external tax advisors.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate tax, tax accounting, or public accounting; Big 4/mid-tier experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local/international tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of corporate, property, federal excise, and environmental taxes.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP tax accounting standards.
• Hands-on experience in corporate tax preparation, tax provisions, and financial statement tax reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Experience supporting tax audits and multi-jurisdictional tax compliance.
• Strong ability to interpret tax regulations and collaborate cross-functionally.
