-NEW- 12 Month Working Capital Controller/ AR (Legal Industry)

Job Responsibilities:

· Prepare monthly billing and collection forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.

· Manage the end-to-end client and matter financial lifecycle, identifying process improvements and efficiencies.

· Provide guidance on cross-border billing, tax considerations, and complex collection matters.

· Monitor aged debtors and support bad-debt provision calculations and analysis.

· Support annual audits through detailed reviews of WIP and debtor balances.

· Manage client and matter inception workflows, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

· Prepare billing documentation, including hourly schedules, disbursements, and narrative breakdowns.

· Provide regular updates to partners and clients on billing, outstanding fees, and collections.

· Train Legal PAs on billing processes and 3E narrative completion.

· Collaborate with regional working capital teams on cross-unit and cross-border matters.

· Support pricing, profitability analysis, and matter financial management, providing insights to partners.

· Build strong relationships with client finance teams to facilitate timely invoice processing and cash collection.

· Partner with Business Development teams to provide financial insights and analysis.

· Adhoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

· Minimum Degree in a related discipline

· Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting duties

· Able to start immediately or within short notice
