6 Months Laboratory Technologist for US MNC (Dairy/Food) #HBY

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: West
Salary: $3000 - $3600
Contract Duration: 6 months

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct product development activities in laboratory and pilot plant environments, primarily focusing on dairy and beverage applications.
• Support formulation development, process optimisation, troubleshooting and application testing.
• Develop and evaluate product prototypes to support customer projects.
• Conduct experiments and accurately document results and project activities.
• Prepare technical reports and application-related documentation.
• Provide technical support to Marketing, Sales, Technical Service and Operations teams.
• Assist with technical presentations, seminars and training activities.
• Support troubleshooting of formulation and processing challenges.
• Maintain laboratory ingredients, materials, equipment and samples.
• Manage and maintain the ingredient library, ensuring proper labelling, storage and tracking.
• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe laboratory environment.
• Follow all workplace safety, health and sustainability requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in food product development, applications or food manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of ingredient functionality and food processing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and project management skills.
• Detail-oriented and well organised.
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, willing to learn and able to take ownership of assigned projects.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
