Job Description:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients’ physical, mental, and emotional abilities, determining the impact of their conditions on daily life and identifying appropriate treatment goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, using therapeutic techniques and exercises, to help patients improve motor skills, cognitive function, and independence in daily tasks.
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive strategies and assistive devices, ensuring they understand how to manage conditions and improve functionality at home and in the community.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure holistic care for patients and track their progress.
• Maintain accurate records of patients’ progress, treatment plans, and any modifications, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirement:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPC registered
• Applicant who has prior experience working in Geriatric, Neurology, Orthopedic and Palliative Care is a PLUS
• Applicants with no prior experience are welcomed
