🧪 Laboratory Technologist – Product Development

Looking for a Laboratory Technologist to support exciting food product development and innovation projects, particularly within dairy and beverage applications.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in the laboratory and wants exposure to formulation development, product testing, pilot plant operations and technical support.

🔬 What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct product development and application testing in laboratory and pilot plant environments

• Support formulation development, process optimisation and troubleshooting

• Develop and evaluate food product prototypes

• Perform experiments and accurately document results

• Prepare technical reports and application documentation

• Provide technical support to Marketing, Sales, Technical Service and Operations teams

• Support technical presentations, seminars and training activities

• Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges

• Maintain laboratory ingredients, materials, equipment and samples

• Manage and maintain the ingredient library, including labelling, storage and tracking

• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of laboratory and pilot plant equipment

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe laboratory environment

• Follow workplace safety, health and sustainability requirements
