Senior Accounts Associate (Full Sets / Client Accounting) #BLM

Jobs Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and oversee their day to day accounting requirements from transaction recording through financial reporting.
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts, including month end and year end closing, management accounts, financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations; investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure financial records are complete and accurate.
• Serve as the key accounting contact for assigned clients, coordinating information and deliverables with clients, auditors, tax agents and corporate secretarial teams.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance on accounting treatments, reporting requirements and quality standards.
• Support statutory and tax related requirements while identifying opportunities to improve accounting workflows, internal controls and operating procedures.

Job Requirements

• Relevant experience handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting within an accounting firm, accounting outsourcing or professional services environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of month end closing, financial statements, general ledger and account reconciliations.
