6 months Contract Private Banking KYC Team Lead/Checker (Foreign Bank) #BLM

Jobs Responsibilities

• Lead and support regional KYC activities for Private Banking clients across APAC, providing oversight on new onboarding, periodic reviews and trigger event cases.
• Act as a senior KYC Checker and escalation point, reviewing complex CDD profiles, risk assessments, supporting documents, FATCA/CRS requirements and screening outcomes.
• Guide KYC team members on case quality, regulatory interpretation and remediation; provide advisory support to regional stakeholders on complex client cases.
• Oversee first line KYC controls and ensure client records, static data and supporting documentation remain accurate, complete and audit ready.
• Review management information, KRIs and regulatory reporting; identify emerging issues, control gaps and outstanding actions requiring management attention.
• Represent KYC Operations in regional initiatives and transformation projects, including workflow enhancements, automation and development of APAC KYC processing capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of KYC/CDD experience with strong Private Banking or Wealth Management exposure.
• Prior experience in a KYC Team Lead, senior checker, reviewer or supervisory capacity.
• Strong end to end knowledge of client onboarding, periodic reviews, trigger reviews, name screening, FATCA/CRS and risk assessment.
• Good understanding of APAC AML/KYC requirements, with the ability to guide team members and manage complex or escalated cases.
