Job Summary

The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Handle incidents and report issues according to company procedures.

Sales Operations

  • Consolidation of purchases.
  • Generation and Reconciliation of sales transactions and reports.

Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
  • Ensure customers receive accurate product information and support.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.

Inventory Management

  • Coordinate with suppliers and teams to ensure product availability in a timely manner.

Financial Management

  • Oversee payment handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate transactional updates in the system.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of retail experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience managing sales operations, inventory, and staff.
