Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable simulation workflows using advanced simulation platforms.
• Develop reusable application extensions and tools for digital twin applications.
• Import and configure industrial robot models for simulation purposes.
• Collaborate with teams to reduce the gap between simulated and real-world operations.
• Profile and optimize simulation performance for real-time interactions.
• Interface with various teams to gather technical requirements and prepare comprehensive reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in software development for simulation or robotics.
• Proficient in Python; knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with simulation platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse or Unity.
• Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals and physics-based simulation concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Pixar’s Universal Scene Description (USD) schema.
• Experience with industrial robots and automated manufacturing systems preferred.
