About this job
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices.
- Perform hardware and software fault diagnosis, testing and servicing.
- Replace defective components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras and other internal parts.
- Perform software installation, updates, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Conduct functional testing and quality checks before returning devices to customers.
- Handle warranty and non-warranty repair services.
- Maintain accurate records of repair jobs, parts used and device status, including IMEI/serial numbers.
- Provide technical support and explain repair issues and solutions to customers.
- Identify recurring technical problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain repair tools, equipment and spare-parts inventory.
- Follow company procedures for customer data protection and device handling.
- Support the shop team with technical advice relating to mobile devices and accessories.
