Operations Executive | Freight Forwarding (SEA)

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day sea import & export operations and documentation (e.g., booking, shipping instructions, BL draft, VGM, customs declaration).

• Coordinate with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth cargo movement.

• Monitor shipment schedules, vessel cut-off dates, and ensure timely delivery of documents.

• Prepare and verify export documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).

• Provide proactive updates and after-sales service to clients.

• Address customer inquiries, resolve service issues, and maintain strong relationships.

• Liaise with internal departments to support operational efficiency and compliance.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in sea import & export operations.

• Familiar with import & export documentation, shipping terms (Incoterms), and international trade practices.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of freight forwarding systems is an advantage.

• Team player with a customer-oriented mindset.
