Contract Test Engineer #JLN

The Test Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing laboratory testing activities to verify material performance, quality and compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements. The role oversees test preparation, test execution, data analysis, and reporting while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The Test Engineer develops test plans and procedures, evaluates test results, investigates failures, and provides technical recommendations to support product development, validation, and continuous improvement. The role also ensures the effective operation of laboratory equipment, safe operational maintains testing documentation, and supports quality management systems and customer projects through accurate reporting and technical expertise.

o Plan and execute laboratory test programs.

o Perform test preparation, setup, and execution activities.

o Monitor test performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

o Analyse test results and provide recommendations.

o Prepare technical reports and customer deliverables.

o Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

o Support continuous improvement of testing methods, equipment, and laboratory processes.

o Collaborate with internal teams and customers to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science / Laboratory Technology / Equivalent
• At least 1 year of testing experience preferably in Oil & Gas industry
