Project Engineer (Electrical)

Salary Package: Basic + Allowance + AWS + Bonus

Working days: 5.5 days

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed electrical engineering design, including load calculations (HT/LV), cable and sub-board sizing, short circuit analysis, motor acceleration, and relay protection coordination.

• Conduct specialized engineering studies such as transient load analysis, hazard area classification, and structural layout design.

• Handle procurement technicalities, including material take-offs (MTO), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and vendor material reviews.

• Manage site resources, monitoring the distribution and performance of manpower, machinery, materials, and subcontractors.

• Oversee site installations, testing, and commissioning to guarantee alignment with technical specifications, quality standards, and latest codes of practice.

• Evaluate progress claims for subcontractors, track overall site progress, and represent the trade in client technical and coordination meetings.

• Compile and deliver Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals upon successful project completion.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

• Prior experience in electrical detail engineering and site execution (highly advantageous).

• Strong technical proficiency in reading electrical schematics, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, handle tight deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
