M365/On Prem Enterprise Engineer

Our client, is looking for a hands-on Enterprise Engineer to support its financial market infrastructure environment in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly available enterprise environment, supporting and managing on prem, modern Microsoft technologies, virtualisation, cloud platforms, automation, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, VMware, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot core technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL Server, and file services.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Horizon VDI, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Lead the resolution of complex infrastructure incidents and act as a senior technical escalation point.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Graph API, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and related tools.
• Maintain security controls, certificate management, backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to infrastructure strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience, preferably within a regulated industry such as financial services.
• Strong experience supporting and administering on-premises infrastructure environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Exchange Server, SQL Server, file services, and VMware.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of Exchange hybrid environments, SQL Server administration, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience using PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Azure DevOps is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
