Risk Management Analyst (Private Banking | 6-Month Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading private bank to hire a Risk Management Analyst. This role is responsible for supporting market and treasury risk activities through risk monitoring, P&L analysis, reporting, reconciliation and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor market, treasury and liquidity risk exposures, ensuring activities remain within established risk parameters and control frameworks.
• Prepare and analyse risk, valuation and profitability reports, providing timely insights to support business and management decision-making.
• Perform reconciliations and data validation across multiple systems to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and risk information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, finance and operations teams to support risk oversight, issue resolution and process enhancements.
• Contribute to reporting automation, control improvements and risk management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and risk transparency.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, market risk, treasury risk, product control or a related banking function.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of financial markets, risk management principles and banking control processes, with strong stakeholder management skills.
