Accounts Executive (Construction)

• Supported the setup, testing, rollout, and enhancement of the new accounting system, including user support, training, and system adoption activities.

• Coordinated with software vendors, IT teams, and users to resolve system issues and support finance system projects, including banking integration and Invoice Now implementation.

• Processed supplier and subcontractor invoices, petty cash and staff claims, payment batches, and supporting documents to ensure accurate and timely payments.

• Assisted in preparing financial and management reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including reports for Japan Head Office, GST, and income tax requirements.

• Supported annual audits, GST audits, and tax computations while assisting management with other accounting, reporting, and administrative activities.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Polytechnic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite is required, with strong accounting and finance system knowledge.
